The Order
Welcome to the Oblates of the Holy Passion!
Established in 2020 on the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, our contemplative Benedictine community is devoted to prayer and serving others.
Who We Are:
- Non-Papal Catholic order following monastic traditions
- Comprised of married and unmarried clerics in major and minor orders
- United in our vows of stability, conversion, and obedience
- Dedicated to contemplative spirituality and works of mercy
- Entrusted to the patronage of St. Benedict and Our Lady of Sorrows
Our Mission:
As Oblates, we seek to witness Christ’s Passion by living the ancient faith in today’s world. Through liturgy, scripture, and sacraments, we manifest our love for God above all else. Serving the People of God is our joy.
By balancing prayer with action, we walk in faith together. We invite you to learn more about our calling and join us on this sacred path.
Our Charism
As Oblates devoted to the Rule of St. Benedict, we offer our lives in reparation for indifference and clerical sins against the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Through contemplative prayer and works of mercy, we seek healing and forgiveness in Christ’s light. Like Mary and John at the cross, we stand faithfully with all who suffer.
In our ministries, we share the transformative encounter with the Crucified Christ. We bring a message of compassion, reverence, and redemption to all people, especially those neglected.
United with the gentle strength of Benedict and the sorrowful heart of Mary, we walk as witnesses of Passion and Resurrection. Our mission is to proclaim the everlasting love of Emmanuel – “God with us” – and inspire devotion in His Holy Name.
